Foothills Inspections ("we," "us," or "our") provides residential and commercial property inspection services in Middle Tennessee. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Contact information - your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.

Property information - the address, type, age, and condition of the property being inspected, including photographs and measurements taken during an inspection.

Transaction information - services requested, appointment dates, invoices, and payment records. We do not store full payment card numbers.

Referral information - the name of the real estate agent or party who referred you, when provided.

Website information - standard analytics collected by our website host, such as pages visited and general location.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

To schedule, perform, and document your inspection. To prepare and deliver your inspection report. To communicate with you about your appointment, your report, and follow-up questions. To process payment and maintain business records. To meet licensing, insurance, and legal obligations.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

WHEN WE SHARE INFORMATION

We share your information only as needed to deliver the service you requested, or where required by law. Specifically:

Service partners - laboratories and specialists who process radon, wood-destroying organism, or mold samples associated with your inspection.

Report recipients you designate - your real estate agent, attorney, lender, or anyone you ask us to send your report to.

Operational providers - scheduling, messaging, email, and payment vendors who process information solely on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Legal requirements - where required by subpoena, court order, licensing authority, or applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information.

TEXT MESSAGES

If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number only to send appointment confirmations and report delivery notices. Opting in is never required to book an inspection, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Full details are in our SMS Terms.

HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION

We retain inspection reports and related records for the period required by Tennessee licensing rules and our errors and omissions insurance, and for as long as needed to support you as a past client. Contact records are kept until you ask us to remove them.

YOUR CHOICES

Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts. Use the unsubscribe link in any non-transactional email. Contact us to request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your information. We will honor these requests except where we are required to retain records.

SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

CHILDREN

Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted to this page, and the date above will change.
